Live Lining Eels for Stripers (aka, Rockfish, Striped Bass)

This is the way the pros up north have been rigging them for years. Throw out, tip up and reel in sloooooow! When you feel a bite, "bow to the cow" (point your tip at the fish), when the line comes tight again, set the hook! If you find you are missing them, drop the tip and feed them line to a count of 5 or so before coming tight and setting the hook. If the line goes slack after you feel a bite (fish picks up bait and comes at you), again, "bow to the cow", quickly reel up the slack with the tip still pointing at the fish, and then, SET DA HOOK!!
